Nissan 240sx Used Car Parts

Introduced in the US in 1989 the Nissan 240sx was produced until 1998. The first generation ran from 1989-1994 the chassis is commonly referred to as the S13. From 1989-1990 the first version of the S13 featured a SOHC KA24E engine which squeezed out 140hp at 5600rpm from its inline four engine. It came with either an automatic or manual transmission. Those two years also had a front end known to many as a "pig nose" front. In 1991 the 240sx the front end was revised with what is known as a "shark nose" front and the engine was replaced with a dual overhead cam KA24DE which increased horsepower to 155 ponies. S13 coupes and hatches sold through 1993 when they were discontinued. The 240sx was sold in 1994 only as a convertible. In 1995 the second chassis version was introduced and known as the S14. The whole body was restyled and made much rounder looking. The S14 was only available as a coupe. In 1997 the front end was changed one more time to the angry eyes Kouki version and ran until 1998, which would be the last year of the 240sx in the US.
